ABOUT YOU
As the Marketing Communications Associate, your primary responsibility will be to manage all aspects of the Dunham Blog. This includes; promoting, writing, and editing. You will be expected to produce one blog article a week as well as increase our subscriber count. To perform this job successfully, you must have the drive to succeed, a positive attitude, and a love for achieving goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop, post, and maintain the Dunham blog - targeting financial advisors and populating it with both original content and content from various other contributors;
  • Establish relationships with external bloggers and online centers of influence within the financial industry;
  • Produce, maintain, and proofread all company marketing collateral including brochures, campaign materials, and presentations;
  • Develop and update timely and appropriate content for the website;
  • Write all press releases and outside communications;
  • Develop and maintain editorial standards for the Company;
  • Coordinate with compliance and legal staff for regulatory purposes;
  • Other duties and responsibilities as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, or Communications (or relevant experience);
  • 1-2 years of experience (including internships);
  • Knowledge of Chicago and AP style manuals;
  • Working knowledge of graphic design software, including Adobe InDesign and Photoshop;
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills;
  • Experience with print, branding, and typography;
  • Must be able to work under intensive deadlines with frequent interruptions and complete highly detailed work on multiple, concurrent tasks;
  • Knowledge of financial services industry and ability to write about relevant issues and topics is HIGHLY preferred.

At least one writing sample will be required if you progress to the interview stage.
